SMIG MEMBERSHIP SMIG serves over 150 businesses and professionals and over 10,000 of their employees. Members of SMIG are ensured of having a viable voice and participation in the political and economic culture of the community. Monthly membership luncheons are generally held on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 noon at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. Guest speakers are chosen from local, state and national political leaders, as well as industrial leaders who bring current events and informative topics before the membership.
